CLEAN Special Issiue: Environmental Research in Turkey
Published on January 29th, 2008.
Wiley yayınevinin dergilerinden biri olan Clean yeni sayısında Türkiye’nin çevresel sorunlarına özel olarak bir sayı çıkarmış. Aşağıda Wiley’in tanıtımı ve sunduğu ücrestsiz makaleler mevcut.
CLEAN is a new, international and interdisciplinary journal covering all aspects of Sustainability and Environmental Safety. It hosts an attractive mixture of peer-reviewed scientific reviews, research papers, and short communications.
A further highlight in a row of special issues is the issue of CLEAN focusing on environmental sciences and sustainability research in Turkey. Turkey was chosen because of its young population and growing energy demand per capita, its fast growing urbanization, and its economic and scientific development. According to Professor Bülent Topkaya, Akdeniz University Antalya and Editor of CLEAN, in addition to the need for serious global competition, the accession process of Turkey to the European Union is the main driving power of this process. In the period of 2000 to 2006, the indices of sciences and technology show a remarkable increase.Read these articles for free:Energy Use and Air Pollution Issues in Turkey
