Do Not Hate Media, Be Media!
A week ago Skype Linux team released the Skype 2 for Linux. I’ve just found the chance to try it. SMS feature is still missing but this version is nearly enough for all my needs. I think most of the Linux community will like it. Thanks for the great job Skype Linux team.

Yesterday Skype Linux team announced the new Skype 2 Linux Beta build. Skype does a great job! Even if it’s a closed source application, Skype itself is the most well adopted multiplatform communication suite which includes video support on all major platforms as Win, Mac & Linux. With the new Beta Skype Linux client seems to be more stable towards to the main release.
With the version 2.0.0.43, Skype fixed lots of bugs & added some new features.

Finally there is a widely adopted cross platform video conversation solution from Skype!
Yeppp, Linux users were all suffering from not having a cross platform video call solution. Skype did the thing! One one of the most wanted features of Linux world is no more a problem. Congratulations Skype Linux team….
Some of my friends says that if the compiz-fusion is enabled video receiving won’t work… My video card does not have compiz support. So no problem! It works perfectly on my HP nx6125 notebook running Ubuntu 7.04 with Logitech Quickcam Messenger….
