Tuzla Cemetery overlooks Tuzla Shipyards. Now start walking down the cemetery slope. On your left is the military zone. Green and free of humans. Then all of a sudden you see nothing but concrete blocks of flats. The workers leave their homes around seven in the morning to work “outside”, in the shipyards, in leather and side industries. Among the family flats you can also find bachelor apartments filled with beds and longing for the family. Keep walking down the slope: factories manufacturing small ship parts, the unceasing roar from the İçmeler Köprüsü on the E5 freeway, the never empty labor pick-up strip at the crossroads, the sound of the local express train. Walk pass the İçmeler stop, and here is Aydınlı Bay packed with almost all of Turkey’s shipyards. The workers who go through forty eight different doors everyday, hundred men high cranes, steel sheets, the speed and sweat which merge them into one. The time unit in the shipyards is the fleeting instant a cigarette bud is dropped on the floor, the split second between making a living and death between hope and pain, their and ours. Türkiye‘de “hukuk” görüngüsünün nasıl olup da adalet ekseninden çıkıp, kurucu ideolojiyi savunan bir yapı haline geldiğini ger gün sayısız örneklerle yaşıyoruz. Yargıtay ve Danıştay’ın, 27 Nisan 2007 günü TSK’nın yaptığı e-muhturayla nerdeyse birebir aynı özellikleri taşıyan “muhturalar” yayınlamasını içime sindiremiyorum. Bu muhturalar, “yargı bağımsızlığı” denilen ama yargının bizzat farkında olduğu “bağımsız olmama” durumunu “hukuki erdem” ve göya “dik duruş, eleştiri hakkı” çizgisinde savunmakta ve Anayasa Mahkemesi’ne göz kırpmakta…
AKP bu ülke için ne kadar büyük bir kambursa aynı şekilde demokrasi ve hukuktan nasibini almamış yüksek yargı kurumları da birer kamburdur. Demokratlığı sadece kendisine olan AKP’nin savurduğu “demokratik söylem” ne kadar değersizse, hayatı boyunca demokrasi ihtiyacı içinde bulunmamış yargı kurumlarının nasihatleri ve istekleri de o kadar değersizdir. Şemdinli Olayı’nda savcıyı iki günde alaşağı eden anlayışın nasıl bir anlayış olduğu, hukuğun esamesinin bile okunmadığı Bülent Ersoy‘un “Halkı Askerlikten Soğutma” davasının abidik gubidik iddianamesinde görülebilir. (Örneğin “İnternet Yasası” tabir edilen yasa sebebiyle, düşüncesine ket vurulmağa çalışılan binlerce insan gibi…)
Yargı Bağımsızlığı diye bas bas bağıran yargı kurumlarının ne kadar bağımsız olduğu tüm toplum tarafından bilinmekte. Hatta bu durum bir çarpıklık olarak görülmeyip içselleştirldiğinden dolayı, “siyasi çevrelere yakın olmak”, “içeride adamı olmak” ya da “bizim çocuklar” kavramları bir güç simgesi haline dönüşmüş durumda. Bu durumda, yazılı hukuka uygun adil karar verme sürecinin içine düştüğü gerilimli paradoks dolayısı ile hukuk ve buna bağlı olarak yargı, ideolojik örgütlenmenin torna tezgahında duran yontulmamış bir kütükten öteye gidemiyor.
Vakti zamanı geldiğinde sosyolojik tespit ve yorum yapmak zorunluluğu bulunan yargı kurumlarının bu tip çözümlemeler sırasında ideolojik kararlar verdiği ortadadır. Türkiye sınırları dahilinde sosyal, sosyal psikanalitik bilgi üretmenin sınırları kurucu ideolojinin dikenli telleri ve nöbetçileri ile belirlenmiştir. Sağlıklı bir değerlendirmeye yer yoktur bu topraklarda.

Their sound is more or less like Evanescence especially Laetitia as the lead vocal. But the guy “Cisco” can not manage it. Other than this at last if you want to metal up your ass Antarhes should be a choice…
Their song “This Beautiful Machine” is from “The Heavens” album which was debuted in Mar. ‘08.
The only problem with them is the total duration of their album. Shoe-gazer style sometimes sounds like Radio Head to me. One of the best Brit contributors to psych rock. If you like Brit psych rock or shoe gaze give it a try.
