Radiohead’s New Album // Radiohead’in Yeni Albümü
Published on October 10th, 2007.
Radiohead announced that they will publish the new album “In Rainbows” for DRM free & directly downloadable from their site. Now with the overload http://www.inrainbows.com/ seems to be down.
Radiohead yeni albümleri “In Rainbows“‘u DRM koruması olmadan ve doğrudan sitelerinden indirilebileceğini açıklamıştı. Adamların satış yaptıkları siteye çılgınca bir akın olunca site de haliyle uçmuş durumda. Eğer alacaksanız biraz bekleyin….

Hosting with Powweb. Grrrr!
Published on October 1st, 2007.
BioEng Thing is online with Powweb since April 2005. At the beginning everything went perfectly, no uptime problems, good service quality… But after the acquisition of Powweb by Endurance, things started to change dramatically. After the upgrade from FreeBSD to Red Hat I started experience slow downs. After the Debian upgrade and MySql-PHP updates my sites started to load very very slowly, countless MySql errors, and several downtime problems. (I know that neither Red Hat nor Debian are related with the problems in Powwb issue… It’s because of poor maintenance!!) In the meantime I run two other sites in two different hosting providers but I’ve never experienced these kind of problems with them.
So here is the Announcement:
I will change the BioEng Thing’s server in this month. It will be probably in Europe not in US. Within this period, I’m sorry for the probable inconveniences.

- Gnash support for 64bit systems is fine but needs to be improved… Keep goin.
- Restricted drivers for video cards, wireless adapter and modem works fine. Hope that one day they will go open source. Hope it.
- Desktop effects are enabled out of the box but my video card is not supported. Brrrrrr..
- Theme maintenance is well improved. Like it.
- Fast user switch is flawless. Like it.
- Automatic printer installation is the best!. Like it.
- I couldn’t realise the problem within the “dynamic screen configuration”. Will look at it.
- AppArmor rocks!
I strongly advice you to try! It will be very nice to give a chance to Ubuntu 7.10. With every release Ubuntu becomes more elegant and adorable. What can I say? Even if it’s in Beta stage, it stands more stable than some main branch release distros. Thank you guys, who supported this distro with priceless labour…
