Why I like Creative Commons?

Accessing to information and/or knowledge is limited even if it’s on the internet. Countless scientific databases holds countless articles & books restricted for some. Storks didn’t bring it to us, we have to share & distribute it freely…

Victor Shoup, makes it possible in his style: publishing a stiff Number Theory book under the Creative Commons Licence.

A book introducing basic concepts from computational number theory and algebra, including all the necessary mathematical background.

The book is published by Cambridge University Press. It can be purchased directly from Cambridge University Press, or from online book retailers. However, the book will continue to be freely available online in PDF format under a Creative Commons license.
