Isle of Flowers
Isle of Flowers or “Ilha das Flores” by Jorge Furtado which’s production year is 1989.
It’s one of the most favorite short movies of mine. The movie itself tries to depict the capitalist production & consumption linkage throughout the humans thus the movie itself is a informative movie. Because of being a informative movie it does not require to have an ordinary casting-acting… The movie itself is a informative and not a ordinary casting-acting movie because it’s a narrative short movie. Being a narrative, not ordinary and an informative movie, “Isle of Flowers” juxtaposes whole story with images amazingly. So the movie itself is a narrative, not ordinary, informative and the images are juxtaposed amazingly, tries to establish a bond between images in motion and you…
I tried to write in the Jorge Furtado’s way. No need to say something, just watch it. Verdict: Touching, bloody touching…
